In 1907, God led a small but faithful group of men and
women to begin a work near the Tattnall-Evans County line.
They first met in an old one-room schoolhouse and they
chose Rehoboth as the name for the Lord's new church.

The name Rehoboth comes from Genesis 26:22.  It is the
name of a well that Isaac dug for his family.  The name
means "plenty of room".

It is my prayer that you will find "plenty of room" here to
worship God freely, "plenty of room" to serve God
graciously, and "plenty of room" to grow into what God
desires you to be.

It has been 100 years since God began his work here at
Rehoboth.  May the years to come be even more productive
for His work and for His glory.
