Over the next several weeks we are going to be talking about using what God has giving us to reach and rescue our community for Christ. There is much at stake here…if God doesn’t move our hearts in the area of evangelism and mission there will be many who will not hear the life changing message of the gospel. Missions exists because worship doesn’t – God’s purpose for the world is that the earth be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord like the waters cover the sea. But it doesn’t and God’s plan for this non-worship condition that exists is mission and evangelism…it’s to go and make disciples!
